Analysis of the Temporal and Spatial Distribution of Air Quality in Istanbul
Industrialization, rapid population growth and urbanization in Turkey have made air pollution problems an important environmental problem. This study aims to analyze the spatial and temporal changes in Istanbul, considering the diversity and intensity of air pollution sources. The study focused on PM10, PM2.5, SO₂, NO₂ and other basic air pollutants, and data obtained from air quality measurement stations of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization were used.
